Lauren is a mobile development specialist, focusing on research and development and stakeholder partnership management. Former Head of the GSMA Mobile Learning and Mobile for Employment programmes, she is an expert in senior-level relations management strategy and mobile and e-learning. She has advised on policy issues and supported the mobile industry agenda advocating to bring mobile technology to the world’s population in a fair and competitive environment. Lauren has first-hand experience working in challenging contexts gathering research data, analysing the country dynamics and driving new areas of opportunity for technology including Bangladesh, Ghana, Indonesia, Spain, Uganda, and India.  She has worked within the international development community, governments, NGOs, and the telecommunications industry to develop multiple projects with extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative research. Lauren has produced multiple reports, publications, and thought pieces in the field of mobile learning and mobile for youth development and employment, including one of the earliest commercial perspectives from the mobile industry on 'mLearning' and 'Mobile for Youth Employment'. She has managed large-scale projects, teams, budgets, and accounts throughout her career.
